Warm service, a kitchen run by chefs who cooked their way across China, and honest Lakeside prices — the dinner guests come back for.
Pokhara has no shortage of places to eat. What sets a restaurant apart is whether it gets the basics right, every single night — and that is what our guests keep writing about.
The food is the real thing. Our chefs are Nepalese who spent years cooking in China, so the flavours land the way they should — Sichuan heat, Cantonese balance, and a hot pot spread that turns dinner into an evening.
The welcome is genuine. Guests name our hosts and waiters by name in their reviews. That does not happen by accident.
The dishes tables order most often — pulled straight from our kitchen so the prices are always current.
We are on Lakeside Road in the heart of Lakeside, so we sit naturally into an evening in Pokhara — dinner before or after a walk by Phewa Lake, or a proper sit-down meal when you want more than street food.
Inside, the room is comfortable and the pace is yours: quick service if you are in a hurry, or a long, shared table if you are not. The kitchen stays open until 22:00.
Visitors craving a real Chinese meal in Pokhara — many say it is the most authentic they found in the city.
Round tables and a menu wide enough that fussy eaters and adventurous ones both leave happy.
Farewells, welcomes and team nights — pre-order the table and nobody waits.
Three dishes and rice make a full dinner for two, usually around Rs. 2,000.
Lions, Rotary, student and community groups are regulars for larger bookings.
Kitchen open to 10pm every day, so a late table is never a problem.

Posted on GoogleThe food is soooo good and the price is a lot better than some other places in the area. Really great mojitos too if that's your jam. Gopal is a great host and very caring and considerate with his guests. 10/10.
Posted on GoogleFriendly staff and good food. They served us a noodle bowl even when we reached at 10:30pm and they were about to close.
Posted on GoogleGreat food, reasonable prices, nice service!
Posted on GoogleAll staff was so polite and the food was so good. Was my first time there and im impressed by food taste.
Posted on GoogleGopal was amazing! All the food came on time, AC/Fan was life saving during the summer heat, and the braised pork slices were the BEST (in my opinion).
Posted on GoogleGood service, food!! So amazing!
Posted on GoogleHighly recommend, great service and really good Chinese food. Me and my husband love our Chinese food so we know when it's good! Our waiter Saurab was awesome, really polite and helpful. Thank you.
Posted on GoogleReally good food. The guy in the black dress who is a captain of that place is a very good man. I like how he explained about the food and payment method very nicely.
Posted on GoogleThe food is impeccable - authentic, very, very tasty and great value. We went back again it was so good. The staff are very willing to adjust the order to take kids into account.
Posted on GoogleTo eat here was a delightful experience! The food was amazing and the waiter was so polite and sweet, that he radiated the calmest and most positive energy!! Would definitely go here again, if in Pokhara!
Posted on GoogleRandomly found this place when we wanted to eat Chinese food. The owner and servers greeted us and were very welcoming. They said their restaurant was somewhat new. The food was very tasty and had lots of flavor. We had the mapu tofu, dandan noodles, some greens, momos, fish, and rice. Warning though: pretty spicy and some of the dishes used Sichuan peppercorns so if you don't like numbing spice, you might want to clarify if the dish has those. I love the numbing so I was fine. The only negative was that the fish had lots of bones, but aside from that, it was still very yummy. Overall, it was a good dinner and would recommend this place if you had a craving for Chinese food while here in Pokhara.
Posted on GoogleSo yummy! I ate here twice in three days. The Dan Dan noodles are delicious. Service is super quick. And the waiters are so sweet, friendly, and helpful! They also give you free green tea which is a nice touch. Will be back for sure.
Posted on GoogleReally lovely staff and fantastic authentic Chinese food! Highly recommend.

Posted on GoogleReally solid new Chinese place in pokhara. Give it a try! We had sweet and sour chicken and garlic prawn shrimp.
Posted on GoogleIt's a newly opened restaurant. I'm very satisfied with my experience here. I ordered the Braised Beef with Potatoes and it tasted great. The waitresses are very attentive. Special praise to Bishnu Limbu, she made my stay here very pleasant.
Posted on GoogleThe food is absolutely legit and tasty. The chefs are Nepalese but have been working in China for many years. At first we were skeptical but after trying some dishes we gave our thumbs up. We came here two times while in Pokhara. There is a huge variety in the menu, and the price is more than reasonable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The decor is comfortable (though we didnt like the choice of music). Highly recommend to people who crave for Chinese flavour in Pokhara.
Posted on GoogleOne of the best meals I've had! Fresh ingredients and wonderful presentation.
Posted on GooglePokhara Chinese Restaurant is one of the best places in town for authentic Chinese food! Delicious dishes, great ambience, and friendly service. Highly recommended for families and food lovers!
Posted on GoogleGood food, cozy vibes, and authentic Chinese taste — everything you need for a perfect meal is right here at Pokhara Chinese Restaurant.
Posted on GoogleFood was great and the staff were very attentive. Music at the bar/payment counter should be lowered because I could barely hear the manager/owner trying to talk with us.
Posted on GoogleThree things guests mention most: the food is cooked by chefs who trained in China, the service is genuinely warm, and the prices are fair for the quality. That combination is why the Google Business Profile sits at 4.9 stars.
On Lakeside Road, Pokhara — right in the Lakeside area, so it is an easy walk from most Lakeside hotels and a natural stop at the start or end of an evening out.
Walk-ins are welcome, but evenings from about 7pm and weekends get busy. For a group of six or more, or a special occasion, booking ahead is worth it — call +977-9851143932 or book online.
Most mains sit between Rs. 300 and Rs. 2,500. Three well-chosen dishes with rice make a full dinner for two for around Rs. 2,000. There is something at every budget, from a quick noodle bowl to a whole steamed fish.
Both. International visitors come for a proper Chinese meal away from home, and Pokhara families, office groups and clubs treat it as a reliable spot for a shared dinner. The menu and the staff handle both crowds every night.
Every day, 10:00 to 22:00 (10am–10pm). The kitchen serves right up to closing, and has been known to cook a late noodle bowl for guests who arrive near the end.
Lakeside Road, Pokhara — open every day, 10am to 10pm. Call +977-9851143932 or book a table online.
